My first video sale on Adobe stock - January 2019

I am uploading stock photography for almost 3 years now and my earnings are increasing over each month.

Around one month ago i decided to try myself in recording stock footage. I had no idea ( still its not clear) what kind of footage to shoot for stock. So i decided to check my best selling photography to see if i can shout something like that and maybe made some sales. One of my best selling photos are with my son playing with dirt after he removed plant from the pot. This is one of the images in thet series:

So i decided to let my son again in backyard to play with his favourite "toys" and try to capture some nice footage. And i did it. I uploaded footage on 8.january, dont know exactly date when it was approved, and i made my first sale yesterday 30.january . It took it a around 3 weeks to be online to sell but it made me $25.20 in just one sale. Comparing to sales of photos that i took of the same situation much better. I cant complain for image sales as they are selling on regular basis each month, but if you compare downloads being paid $0.33 or $3.27 with a single download paid $25.20 its a huge difference.

I am new in video recording and editing and this footage really does not meet high standards, its just hd footage taken with my nikon d7000, and stabilized in after effect with warp stabilizer, without any color correction, but apparently it found a costumer. Im very happy with this sale as my son is in it and all those sales that im making with him in the photo/footage is going to his account ( yes i am saving everything for my boys) Now if you follow this link you can see footage.

I will be keeping this footage on my eye and i will post if it sells again. Hope you find this post useful and if you have any questions i will be pleased to answer...
